IRON MAN ITALY 2022 - CERVIA

Next September Cervia - an ancient fishing village - will host the next Made-in-Italy IRONMAN, a spectacular race that takes place along the coastal Emilia-Romagna region flanked by the Adriatic Sea. Swim, bike and run through Emilia-Romagna's historic scenery!
You are a lover of Triathlon? Then you cannot miss the Italian edition of Ironman, the long-distance triathlon, which will take place in Cervia next  September 2022:
on the coast of Emilia-Romagna—one of the most famous Italian regions in the world for nature, art, and aboveall food just 20 km from Ravenna—sits Cervia. This ancient fishing village is known as the "city of salt,” and became known for its fine sand and shallow water of its beaches and wide centuries-old pinewood. In the 1800s, Cervia became an important tourist destination, and in 1912, the garden city of Milano Marittima was created, quickly becoming one of the most glamorous seaside towns in Italy.
For all these reasons and more, Cervia has been selected to host the first ever "made in Italy" IRONMAN event.
The adventure will start in the calm waters of Romagna, where athletes will take on the first 3.8 kilometers of the swim course. They will pass through the Natural Park of Salt Pens of Cervia, the natural habitat of pink flamingos, and cycle for 180 km surrounded by history and nature. Finally, the marathon will take them through Cervia and Milano Maritime’s most prominent landmarks, leading all athletes to the finish line to become Italy’s first IRONMAN finishers.
This race will offer 40 slots to the IRONMAN World Championship.

7. Breakfast from 5:00 am the day of the race and Transfer included from the hotel to the race start in the competition day!



The beach MILANO CLUB, in front of hotel Baya, has a small gym, or for those who want to work out, Hotel Baya has an agreement with the nearby gym KLUB 39.
